Have you or a loved one been impacted by abuse?

Are you a pastor or leader in the Church or Christian Community?

Did you know that 1 in 4 women and 1 in 7 men will experience abuse in their lifetime, including those in church? And, for the last five years, child sexual abuse has been the number one reason Churches or Religious Organizations have ended up in court.

The Church is often the first place victims of abuse go to seek help and healing. If we are not educated and equipped to properly serve these hurting individuals, we can unintentionally neglect or even re-victimize them. This is why we created The Courage Conference.

The Courage Conference is a non-denominational event that will offer a judgement-free place for survivors of abuse (and those who love them) to gather and hear inspiring stories from other survivors, as well as how they are finding healing and moving forward in boldness. It will also educate pastors and church leaders on how to prevent abuse, and how to respond when it happens. We will offer a unique opportunity to hear from trained professionals and to connect with free local resources, so your church doesn't have to do this alone. Additionally, separate pastor-specific and survivor-specific breakout sessions  will be a voluntary part of the program.

Ticket Scholarships: If you are unable to afford the cost of a ticket for the live or online event and would like to be entered into our scholarship program, please sign up here (limited availability).

This is our first event and we are in need of funds to make it happen. Tickets will be covering only the food, printed material, and other expenses for each individual attendee. We still need financial investors to help cover the cost of the building rental, travel expenses for the speakers, and promotional materials. We would also like to be able to offer scholarships for survivors who would like to attend but cannot cover the ticket price. Our financial goal is $10,000. Even your gift of $5 or $10 will help. Can you help us?
