I’m Ashley — truth seeker, love wrangler, and liberator.

I’m a Christian feminist, writer, speaker, television producer, news pundit, ordained reverend, and abuse-victim advocate who educates churches and secular communities on abuse. I’m the founder of The Courage Conference, for survivors of abuse—and those who love them.

I'm also an extroverted, quirky minded, budding world changer; a recovering people pleaser; and a self-proclaimed dyslexic... Stay tuned for grammatical bloopers!

I'm spliced by marriage to a hot stuff southern boy who has a heart bigger than the sky.  Will is my greatest supporter, a strong empowerer, the finest of lovers and my hero all wrapped into one.

I'm passionate about bringing LOVE to the world.  I seek to do this through promoting truth-seeking expeditions, advocating gender equality and educating the Church and society on abuse.

I believe:

  • Ideas have repercussions.

  • Theology is insanely practical.

  • Psychology and theology intersect, often.

  • Love and liberation are our main works in this now kingdom.

  • We were born to be world changers.

I'm glad you're here to join me on this journey of love and liberation.
